Before You Go!
Before you leave for your Disney Internship, make sure to have the following lined up:
1. Housing
2. Roommates (if you decide you would like to choose your own)
3. Arrange Doctor appointments prior to your departure- it is a pain to try to find a dentist or other doctors in another state!
4. Check your transportation- If you are taking your vehicle, make sure to get the oil changed, tires rotated, etc.
5. Check in with EIU- register for the classes you need, pay tuition, organize textbook rental to be delivered to your new apartment, etc.
6. Arrange arrival travel plans- Flights, Driving, Rental Cars, Hotels
7. Pack!
Packing List
If you choose to opt for Disney Company Sponsored housing you will have 1 bedside table drawer, 3 dresser drawers, and a small portion of a closet- MAX! Keep this limited space in mind when planning your packing.
1. Professional Clothes- Anytime you take Disney Classes, or attend Traditions, you will need Business Professional Clothes!
2. Sleepwear
3. 1 Week Worth of Outfits- You will only have 2 days a week when you won't be in a company provided costume, so you will not need a ton of clothing. There is also an outlet mall close to Disney Housing in Orlando to spend your paycheck at every week.
4. Swimsuit/ Beach Towel
5. Computer/ Charger
6. Bedding for a Twin Bed
7. Any Decor/ Pictures for Your Room
8. Toiletries
9. Pack of Black Ankle Socks- Standard costume for all roles!
10. Camera
11. Bathroom Towels
12. Shower Liner/ Curtain/ Rings
13. Mouse Ears!
14. Coffee Maker if Needed
15. TV/ DVD Player if Needed- Work out with roommates who is bringing what!

18. A Notebook for Classes

If there is anything you can buy once you arrive to your program, plan for that! Hangers, command strips, a laundry basket, and other items that will take up unnecessary space can be bought for your program the first few days after move in! Use vacuum sealed bags to maximize space if you are flying to your destination!
